The NLPG is the first, definitive, national address list that provides unique identification of properties across England and Wales and conforms to the British Standard, BS 7666. Local government, and potentially the public and private sectors, can link their information systems to this high-quality source of addresses and accurate geographic location.

Sharing the knowledge

In one of the first projects of its type and ahead of any government directive, Huntingdonshire District Council and the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Fire & Rescue Service (CFRS) have been working together to enhance their property information. The result is better, more comprehensive and up to date operational address data for the Fire Service, the local authority and any users of the NLPG, plus some significant efficiency gains.

Underpinning Transformational Government Conference, Exhibition and Exemplar Awards Ceremony

The 2008 ‘Underpinning Transformational Government’ annual conference and exhibition will be held on the 16th October at the Birmingham ICC, alongside the fourth annual Exemplar Awards Ceremony. This event is free to all MSA signatories. Intelligent Addressing and IDeA announce 2008 UTG conference programme

IDeA and IA’s one-day conference ‘Underpinning Transformational Government – everything happens somewhere’ will be held at the Birmingham ICC on the 16th October 2008. The conference will host the 2008 Local Government, NLPG and NSG Exemplar Awards. Free for all local authorities, police and fire signed up to the Mapping Services Agreement, further details can be found under News and Events on the main menu.

The 2008 NLPG and NSG Exemplar Awards recognise the outstanding service delivery, effort, commitment and innovation by local authorities, fire and police in the creation, maintenance and utilisation of the NLPG and NSG. IA & IDeA will jointly present the awards at a one-day conference ‘Underpinning Transformational Government – everything happens somewhere’ to be held at the Birmingham ICC on the 16th October 2008.

NLPG Facilitates Improvements to electoral registers in Great Britain

The NLPG is facilitating improvements in the quality of electoral registers as part of the wider electoral modernisation agenda.
